OUR HISTORYOn May 4, 1960, the Juan Agustín Maza University was born in Mendoza as a Non-Profit Civil Society, whose motto, "Homo res sacra homini" ("Man is a sacred thing for man"), was the guiding principle of its subsequent development. Since that foundational identity, 50 years of fruitful and silent work have passed, generous in the production of graduates of proven suitability, who are the best example of the dedication of all its members, whose conviction is that of forming good men and women whose Goals are freedom, intellectual independence, humanism, ethical sense, solidarity and justice. Those who were students yesterday and today are professors or authorities can attest to the profound transformation and growth of the University, which began with two Faculties and is currently full of achievements, has nine academic units, a secondary school and a center university of languages.
